Shipments, Exchanges and Repairs

BUSINESS DAYS

A business day is any Monday through Friday excluding holidays.  Very rarely, our Operations Department is closed for extreme inclement weather and no shipments take place on those days.

SHIPMENTS

  • For non-expedited orders, Unitec typically ships new orders within 2 business days of receipt of the new order. 
  • For expedited orders (orders that request UPS second-day or overnight delivery), Unitec will ship orders by the end of the following business day.  For example, if you place an expedited order on Saturday, it will ship by Monday.
  • We ship exchanges and repairs within 2 business days of receipt of the returned apparel.

If you require an expedited shipment that is not detailed above, Unitec will endeavor to accommodate you.  Please call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-627-0995 and select option 1 for Customer Service.

REQUEST FOR EXCHANGES

Unitec is pleased to offer its Perfect Fit Promise – – your BEST guarantee for professional polished uniform look. 

Your facility may have size-run try-ons that you can use to determine your best size. 

Unitec will accept items for exchange that have been embroidered with your name or modified in any way but have not been washed or worn in the field.  PLEASE TRY ON YOUR NEW UNIFORMS BEFORE WASHING OR WEARING THEM.  Exchanges must be made within 14 days of your purchase.  Please try on your uniforms as soon as you get them.

To request an exchange, click here and select Request Exchange for the appropriate order.  Please use this form ONLY to return your new, unworn and unwashed uniforms for a different size.  If you have worn or washed your uniforms, please refer to Request for Repairs, below.  Worn or washed uniforms cannot be returned for exchange.  Once you fill out your Request for Exchange form, your request will be reviewed by one of Unitec’s BOP Customer Service Representatives and you will be instructed by return e-mail on how and where to return your uniforms.

REQUEST FOR REPAIRS

Unitec Distribution Systems is pleased to offer the most convenient and comprehensive repair policy in the industry.  Uniform items returned for repair MUST BE FRESHLY CLEANED.  Dirty uniforms will be returned to you without repair.

Uniform items that were ordered within the last 3 months: For a period of up to 3 months following your purchase, Unitec will repair or replace damaged uniforms at our discretion.  Simply return the damaged items to Unitec and we will take care of the rest.  Please be informed that damage to uniforms that are on the body of the item and NOT on a seam cannot be repaired or replaced by Unitec and will not be approved for return.  Uniform items returned for repair MUST BE FRESHLY CLEANED.  Dirty uniforms will be returned to you without repair.

Uniform items that were ordered within the last 6 months: For a period of up to 6 months following your purchase, Unitec will repair damaged uniforms that are repairable.  Simply return the damaged items to Unitec and we will take care of the rest. Please be informed that damage to uniforms that are on the body of the item and NOT on a seam cannot be repaired by Unitec and will not be approved for return.  Uniform items returned for repair MUST BE FRESHLY CLEANED.  Dirty uniforms will be returned to you without repair.
